A combine harvester, often simply called a "combine," is a complex agricultural machine designed to efficiently harvest a variety of grain crops. Its name comes from its ability to perform three major harvesting operations—reaping, threshing, and winnowing—in a single process. This mechanized integration greatly increases productivity, reduces labor costs, and minimizes the time needed to bring crops from the field to storage.
